Our Story

Monasterevin Community Centre is located at the junction of Main Street and Whelan’s Row. A former R.I.C. barracks, it was gifted to the Monasterevin C.Y.M.S. in 1927. It is a protected structure in the centre of the towns Architectural Conservation Area (ACA).

Phonics Classes

Phonics with Robot Reg. classes for Toddlers and Babies from 3 months to 5 years. Learning through sound and movement, opening children and their parents to a new world of literacy. Classes from 10.30am to 11.15am for toddlers aged 1 to 3yrs starting on Sept 26th. Babies (3mths to 1 year) Classes start after the Halloween break. Yoga with Joanna

Join Joanna for a weekly Yoga practice where the focus is not only on the physical aspects of yoga but also on breathwork, mindset, and mindful meditation 🧘‍♀️✨️ Classes are open to all levels and you don’t need previous yoga experience to attend. Safe Pass Course

Beacon Safety Up

Safe Pass is a one day safety awareness programme aimed at construction workers.  The aims of the programme are to raise the standard of safety awareness in the construction industry and that all construction workers after completing the one day awareness programme can make a positive contribution to the prevention of accidents and ill health while working on the site.
